This article explains how to use the AK 10 by Boretti.

A - ON/OFF (the hood turns on at the 2nd speed)

E - timer function with intensive speed: when the hood is turned on, press pushbutton "E"; the hood will turn off after 10 minutes. The operation is confirmed by the flashing number on display "C". F - ON/OFF lighting

E - Holding the 3rd speed pressed: “intensive with delayed turning off". F - Turning off key light. Holding pressed centrally for 2/3 seconds, the blue light will turn off. ON/OFF lighting
Filtering or aspirating program:
The hood is provided with an electronic control that indicates when the aluminium anti-grease filters and the activated carbon filter are saturated. If the hood is installed to be used in the aspirating mode, remove the saturating function for the activated filter as follows: while the hood is off, press pushbutton "B" for 5 seconds. In order to restore this function: while the hood is off, press pushbutton "D" for 5 seconds. Saturated filters: After 80 hours of operation, letter "C" (filtering type) will appear on the display. This indicates that the carbon filter must be replaced. After 40 hours of operation, letter "F" will appear on the display. This indicates that the aluminium anti-grease filters must be cleaned. In order to reset the filter saturated indications: while the hood is off, press pushbutton "E" for 5 seconds.
- SAFETY
A - Do not cook at the flame under the hood. B - Constantly check oil overheating while using the deep fryer in order to prevent it from catching fire. C - Before carrying out any cleaning operation disconnect the appliance by unplugging it or by switching off the circuit breaker. D - In the case in which the hood and other apparatuses that emit fumes are being used in the room, do not supply with electric energy. The room needs to be aerated. E - Do not leave the cooker on if it is not being used F - The hood has been designed to remove the kitchen smells; any other additional use shall be regarded as non-intended. G - It is advisable to turn on the hood a bit before starting to cook and leave it on for approx. 15 minutes after or at least until the smell is completely removed.
- CLEANING
Use only a damp cloth with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use wet sponges or cloths, water jets, thinners, solvents, alcohol or abrasive substances.
