Warranty terms and conditions - Boretti
Ciao! Congratulations on the purchase of your Boretti Ceramica. We are confident that you will enjoy using the Boretti Ceramica and the wonderful dishes you will no doubt serve as a result. Boretti guarantees an extensive warranty on the Boretti Ceramica, which is further specified below. Aside from the product-specific conditions listed below, our standard warranty terms and conditions applies, which you can find on the Boretti website.
Boretti gives a 10-year warranty (from date of purchase) on the main ceramic parts of the Ceramica kamado collection: the body, cover/lid, fire stove and fire ring. The ceramic deflector plates are an exception to this: these have a warranty period of two years from the date of purchase under normal use. The Ceramica kamado is mostly made of ceramic. Ceramic is a natural product in which hairline cracks or small surface fractures can appear in the above components during and after use. This is unavoidable and as long as it does not pose a risk of breakage or result in functional problems, these types of minor aesthetic changes are not covered by the aforementioned warranty. Each Ceramica is handmade: this combined with the fact that ceramic is a natural product means that there are always some variations in colour, structure and texture. We see this as part of the charm of this product, but we cannot guarantee that a replacement part or a new Ceramica will match the original parts 100% in terms of colour, structure and texture.
2. Thermometer, wooden side tables and the fibreglass gasket
The built-in thermometer and the wooden side tables have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase. Please note that the thermometer can be adjusted using the adjustment screw on the back. The fibreglass gasket on the edge of the dome and cover has a warranty of 6 months after purchase.
3. Charcoal basket and ashtray
The charcoal basket and ashtray in the dome have a warranty of two years subject to the statement below regarding regular wear and tear. These two parts will change colour due to high temperatures and some corrosion may occur. This does not affect the functioning of these two parts and is therefore not covered by the warranty.
4. Grills and other parts
All included grills (stainless steel and cast iron) have a warranty of 2 years from date of purchase. All other parts (e.g. the frame, wheels) also have a warranty period of 2 years.
5. General remarks
Damage caused by falls, transport, accidents or improper use is of course not covered under the warranty. The warranty does not apply to regular wear and tear or abnormal/incorrect use of the product. Furthermore, commercial use is not covered under the warranty. Discoloration of parts over time or after intensive use is also not covered by the warranty. Consult the manual or our service department for tips to optimise the lifespan of your barbecue.
