This article explains how to use the DIGITAL TIMER (NOSTALGIC) by Boretti.
1) FUNCTIONS: manual control, start time for cooking, end time for cooking, start- and end time for cooking, timer. 2) DISPLAY: display indications = oven can not be used manually (a program is set) = oven is in use AM = from 00:00 till 11:59 PM = from12:00 till 23:59 = acoustic signal 3) SETTING THE TIME: push the knob until the word TIME appears on the display. By turning the knob you can set the hour, and confirm by pushing the knob once. Now turn the knob to set the minutes, and confirm by pushing the knob once. The time is now set. 4) MANUAL CONTROL: If a program is set you can not use the oven manually. In order to cancel a program, push the knob once. The symbol appears in the display. 5) SETTING THE START TIME FOR COOKING (PRG 1): Push the knob until you have heard an acoustic signal twice, then turn the knob until the word PRG1 appears in the display. Push the knob to confirm. By turning the knob you can set the time the oven will start working. Confirm the time by pushing the knob. The set time will flash in the display together with the word ON. Now set the correct function and temperature for the oven. The oven will start working at the time you have programmed. 6) SETTING THE END TIME FOR COOKING (PRG 2): Push the knob until you have heard an acoustic signal twice, then turn the knob until the word PRG2 appears in the display. Push the knob to confirm. By turning the knob you can set the time the oven will stop working. Confirm the time by pushing the knob. The set time will flash in the display together with the word OFF. Now set the correct function and temperature for the oven. The oven will start working immediately and will stop at the time you have programmed. When the oven stops, the symbol will disappear from the display and a acoustic alarm will go of and the symbol A will appear on the display. Turn the knob to turn of the acoustic alarm. To proceed with the cooking, push the knob once. 7) SETTING THE START- AND END TIME FOR COOKING (PRG 3): Push the knob until you have heard an acoustic signal twice, then turn the knob until the word PRG3 appears in the display. Push the knob to confirm. First set the time for the oven to start working (ON) by turning the knob and confirming the time by pushing the knob once. After setting both the hours and the minutes, the word ON changes to OFF. Now set the time for the oven to turn off by turning the knob and pushing it once to confirm. The set times will flash in the display together with the words ON and OFF. Now set the correct function and temperature for the oven. The oven will start and stop working at the times you have programmed. When the oven stops, the symbol will disappear from the display and a acoustic alarm will go of and the symbol the knob to turn of the acoustic alarm. To proceed with the cooking, push the knob once. will appear on the display. Turn 8) TIMER: Push the knob until you have heard an acoustic signal twice, then turn the knob until the word TIME appears in the display. Push the knob to confirm. Set the minutes for the timer by turning the knob. You can select up to a maximum of 60 minutes. When the timer stops a acoustic alarm will go. Turn the knob to turn of the acoustic alarm. 9) BRIGHTNESS OF THE DISPLAY: From 21:00 PM till 0700 AM the brightness of the display will be less.
