COOKER HOODS - Assembly instructions

This article explains how to assemble the COOKER HOODS by Boretti.

Installation

The cooker hood must be placed at a minimum distance of 65 cm from the cooking plane. If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this has to be taken into account. Do not tile, grout or silicone this appliance to the wall. Surface mounting only. Do not fix chimney flue to furniture or fly over shelves unless the chimney flue can be easily removed, in case maintenance is ever required. The exhaust hood must be connected to a discharge duct with a diameter of at least 125 mm for models K and EK and at least 150 mm for models KP, KV, EKP and EKV. Check carefully which model you have and whether the diameter of your discharge duct is correct. This is of great importance for the lifespan of your exhaust hood. Exhaust pipe The exhaust hood includes a connection (B) on top for the discharge of steam outdoors (discharge duct not included). For models KP, KV, EKP and EKV, no extra connection adapter is included; for these models the discharge must be connected directly to the motor housing. In situations in which it is not possible to discharge steam outdoors, the filter version of the exhaust hood - F (recirculation) can be used in combination with carbon filters. The filtered air is returned to the kitchen via the openings on the side.
