This article covers maintenance and cleaning of the BORETTI CHARCOAL IGNITER (BBA91) by Boretti.

  • Unplug the power cord from the power supply before making any modifications, replacing accessories, or storing the igniter. Such safety precautions will reduce the risk of the igniter being activated accidentally.
  • Store the igniter out of the reach of children and do not let anyone who is not familiar with the igniter and these instructions use the igniter.
  • Check for incorrect placement or attachment of moving parts, breakage of parts, and possible other circumstances that may affect the use of the igniter. Warning Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless and easily distracted. Always remember that one brief moment of distraction is enough to inflict serious injury. Make sure that the air inlets and air outlets are always clean and free from dirt. Clean the igniter using a cotton cloth when it has cooled down and has been unplugged. Never use turpentine, paint thinner, benzene or other flammable or combustible substances to clean the igniter. This is both unnecessary and dangerous.
