Majestic Professional - Quadra - Manual

This article contains the manual for the Majestic Professional - Quadra by Boretti.

To feed the appliance with a different type of gas than that for which it was delivered, the injectors of all burners must be replaced, the air supply and the idling must be adjusted. Before carrying out these operations, it is necessary to disconnect the appliance's power supply to avoid any accidental contact.

IMPORTANT: check your appliance type carefully (see the characteristics plate). The functions are described one after the other below. Not all functions relate to your appliance; choose the ones that are important to you.

Attention:

Keep children away from the appliance during operation, as the oven becomes very hot, especially the door. Safety rules cannot always cover every type of accident. Do not use the appliance as a heating source. If you have to connect other electrical appliances to sockets located near the appliance, be careful that the connection cables do not get trapped in the oven door while operating. GENERAL NOTES: it is advised to clean the oven after each use. The dirt comes off more easily, preventing it from being burnt repeatedly at high temperatures. Wait until the chamber is lukewarm. Remove all the extractable parts and wash them separately in hot water and non abrasive detergent. The cooking chamber can be cleaned with a soft cloth soaked in a solution of lukewarm water and ammonia; then rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents as they may damage the oven. Do not use steam appliances for cleaning, as there is a risk of short circuit. DISMANTLING THE OVEN DOOR It is advised to clean the oven after each use. OVEN DOOR The oven door is composed of three sheets of plate glass (two in some models). The plate glass parts may be cleaned using absorbent kitchen paper and an ordinary non abrasive detergent. The inside glass may be removed to facilitate cleaning. To do this it is necessary to dismantle the oven door (see paragraph "Dismantling the oven door") or, alternatively, to set it in the intermediate click position.

⚠ ATTENTION: DO NOT SLIDE OUT THE INSIDE GLASS WITH THE DOOR COMPLETELY OPEN. THE DOOR COULD CLOSE SUDDENLY AND HURT YOU. Once the door has been dismantled, place it with the outside facing down on a flat soft surface to avoid scratching it. If you do not want to dismantle the door, it is possible to slide out the glass by setting it in the intermediate click position (see fig. 2), but take care that the door does not close suddenly. USE OF THE MULTIFUNCTION OVEN Use the selector knob (S) to choose the desired function. The thermostat (T) allows you to set the temperature from 50°C to 250°C. If your appliance is fitted with a programmer then you have to switch it on.

Oven light

To switch the light off/on, press the selector knob (S). When selector knob is set in (0) position, light is not working.

1 Pizza cooking (available in some models only)

This function is particularly suitable for cooking pizza, focaccia and bread. The main heat source comes from the lower element which works in conjunction with the other oven elements.

2 Normal cooking

This is the classic electric oven function particularly suitable for cooking: pork entrecote, sausages, dry cod, roast veal, meringues and biscuits, oven fruit, etc.

3 Lower element cooking

This is the most suitable setting for finishing the cooking of dishes and, in particular, pastry (biscuits, meringues, yeast cakes, fruit cakes, etc.) and other dishes.

4 Upper element cooking

Particularly suitable for browning dishes and for adding the final touch of colour to them. This is the function recommended for hamburgers, pork chops, veal steaks, sole and cuttlefish.

5 Grill cooking

This is the function suitable for quick and deep grilling, for gratinating and grilling meat in general, fillet, grilled entrecote, grilled fish and grilled vegetables.

Rotisserie (available only in some models)

To roast using the rotisserie, place the spit on its support and fix the end to the motor. HOW TO USE THE VENTILATED GAS OVEN WITH A GAS GRILL (FIG.
